Welcome to Minnesota Magic Boys' Basketball 2017

Since 1988, we have provided a quality youth basketball experience for families in the Twin Cities and throughout Minnesota.

We are proud of the Magic tradition, which includes 298 players who have won NCAA Division I basketball Scholarships.

Our program provided opportunities for NBA draft choices
Kris Humphries (Utah Jazz), Troy Bell (Boston Celtics), Khalid El-Amin (Chicago Bulls), Jon Leuer (Milwaukee Bucks) and Cole Aldrich (Oklahoma City Thunder).

Magic Basketball was also the training ground for former University of Minnesota players Jamal Abu-Shamala, Dan Coleman, Blake Hoffarder, Al Nolen Jr. and Spencer Tollackson.

Once or twice a week (usually twice) at Twin Cities locations. Practice times are 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. for younger players, 8:00 – 9:30 p.m. for older players.
We draw from a pool of experienced AAU, high school and traveling team coaches.
At least one team will be selected for each grade level, in some cases, based on turnout and talent level and availability of volunteer coaches, 2–3 teams might be selected. Click here for tryout information.
